I love Winter Carp Fishing...

Winter time can be the hardest time of the year to catch carp but the problem being that the colder conditions slows down the fishes motabolism. Therefore the fish doesn't need as much food to survive. Not so many years ago it was thought that carp were almost uncatchable during the colder months.With the popularity of long stay (session) carp fishing and advancements in protective clothing and camping equipment it has been proved that carp are catchable right through the winter months. Every water has its own feeding times so its difficult for me to estimate feeding times. A lot of people think that in the winter the fish are always in the deepest area of water . The fish tend to be around snags or areas they feel safe .

Fishing and sex might be the two oldest professions. But the exploitation of both is creating new vulnerabilities for Balkan as the whole world increasingly comes to fish in its waters.
Whistles blow, nets of shimmering fish are raised and swung onto the mother ship, which will take its cargo to canneries in Balkan.

Communities that once shared everything now find a new rich/poor divide is splitting them and AIDS is an ever present danger.

Fishing is better than Sex?

I have one problem: Is fishing better than sex?
1 - Your Fishing partner will never say, "Not again? We just Fished last week! Is Fishing all you ever think about?"
2 - You don't have to be a newlywed to plan a vacation primarily to enjoy your favorite activity.
3 - Nobody expects you to give up Fishing if your partner loses interest in it.
4 - Nobody expects you to Fish with the same partner for the rest of your life.
5 - If you want to watch Fishing on television, you don't have to subscribe to the Playboy channel.
6 - There are no Fishing-transmitted diseases.
7 - You can have a Fishing calendar on your wall at the office, tell Fishing jokes, and invite coworkers to Fish with you without getting sued for harassment.
8 - You don't have to go to a sleazy shop in a seedy neighborhood to buy Fishing stuff.
9 - When dealing with a Fishing pro, you never have to wonder if they are really an undercover cop.
10 - Nobody will ever tell you that you will go blind if you Fish by yourself.
11 - If your regular Fishing partner isn't available, he/she won't object if you Fish with someone else.
12 - When you see a really good Fisherperson, you don't have feel guilty about imagining the two of you Fishing together.
13 - It's perfectly respectable to Fish with a total stranger.
14 - Your Fishing partner doesn't get upset about people you fished with long ago.
15 - If your partner takes pictures or videotapes of you Fishing, you don't have to worry about them showing up on the Internet if you become famous.
16 - The Ten Commandments don't say anything about Fishing.
17 - It is perfectly acceptable to pay a professional to Fish with you once in a while.
18 - You don't have to hide your Fishing magazines.

FLY FISHING on the Pliva River

On the Pliva River there are all conditions for fishing that is very rear in this part of the Europe. Pliva is extremely bright river of specific colour and it presents little paradise on the earth for sport-fishermen in discipline fly fishing. This sport includes fishing with fly, but according to system “catch and release”, it means that fishermen after they catch the fish, they release it back into the water.
At the village Pliva, near the spring of Pliva and along the Pliva River, sports fishing path is formed in the length of approximately two kilometres. In the year 2007, on this path all regional, republic and state competitions in fishing have been organised, in the discipline fly fishing. At the congress of CIPS that was held in May 2007 in Prague, it is decided that European championship in fly fishing will be organised in Sipovo, in the year 2010, i.e. on the mentioned path on the Pliva River.
In the past two years, interest for fly fishing in the Republic of Srpska is increased thanks to promotions that were realised by Tourist Organisation of Sipovo in coordination with Tourist Organisations of B&H. Goal of this sport promotion is to recover glory and reputation of the Pliva River, to present this river as extraordinary resource and possibility for organising different sport activities and to popularise fly fishing in the Sipovo Municipality, Republic of Srpska and B&H.
Promotion of extraordinary conditions that Pliva River offers includes popularisation of one more activity – photo safari. This type of relaxation is becoming more and more interesting for tourist and especially to those who are interested to see and record everything that is beautiful and here they have it more then enough.

Fish,Fish...Black And White Heniochus

The Black and White Heniochus is usually found living among the reefs of the Indo-Pacific region. It's also known as the Longfin Bannerfish because of its long white dorsal fin that moves like a banner as it swims. This is an impressive looking fish that looks even better when you have more than one. Try to introduce them at the same time though. While most other Butterfly fish are likely to chew up a reef, the Black and White Heniochus will behave. Most soft corals and inverts will be safe, although stony corals might be too tempting to resist.

Silver CARP

The silver carp is cultivated in China for food. He can grow to over 18kg and can leap 3m in the air. Silver carp are produced worldwide in aquaculture than any other species. Silver carp are filter-feeders and special methods have been developed for these fish...The entire apparatus is suspended below a large bobber.

Minnow

Minnow is small fish...very small fish. Any small freshwater fish is Minnow. Minnow used as bait by anglers. World famous minnow is: Fathead Minnow (a bluntnose minnow), Chinese Minnow (a Eurasian minnow), Colorado Pikeminnow (a pikeminnov), Three-spined Sticklebacks (like other small silvery fishes often colloquially called "minnows").

Fly fishing is a distinct and ancient angling method, most renowned as a method for catching trout and salmon, but employed today for a wide variety of species including pike, bass, panfish, and carp, as well as marine species, such as redfish, snook, tarpon, bonefish and striped bass. There are many reports of fly anglers taking unintended species such as chub, bream and rudd while fishing for 'main target' species such as trout. There is a growing population of anglers whose aim is to catch as many different species as possible with the fly. Modern fly fishing is normally said to have originated on the fast, rocky rivers of Scotland and northern England. British fly-fishing continued to develop in the 19th Century, with the emergence of fly fishing clubs, along with the appearance of several books on the subject of fly tying and fly fishing techniques. In Scandinavia and the United States, attitudes toward methods of fly fishing were not nearly as rigidly defined, and both dry- and wet-fly fishing were soon adapted to the conditions of those countries. Fly fishing for trout is a very popular sport which can be done using any of the various methods and any of the general types of fly. Many of the techniques and presentations of fly fishing were first developed in fishing for trout.

Fishing place

Fishing is great all along the coast of Belize, from the Port Honduras and Punta Icacos lagoon of Toledo to Rocky Point on Ambergris Caye. Any of the many rivers which empty into the Caribbean along Belize's coasts can guarantee a daily catch. Most of your guides and boatmen speak English so learning where and what to fish will be no problem. Peak periods on the local flats are the months of May through November, though there are fish around 355 days a year, and Winter/Spring months (February, March and April) provide excellent opportunities when the weather cooperates. More importantly, it is uncommon to encounter other anglers once you have left the harbor area. The immense size of these flats, and the lack of fishing pressure has left these tarpon with an very aggressive nature, and they move readily to almost any properly presented fly.

A facility that releases juvenile fish into the wild for recreational fishing or to supplement a species' natural numbers is generally referred to as a fish hatchery. Fish species raised by fish farms include salmon, catfish, tilapia, cod, carp, trout and others. Increasing demands on wild fisheries by commercial fishing has caused widespread overfishing. Fish farming offers an alternative solution to the increasing market demand for fish and fish protein.
